What is Holy Week?
Holy week (the week from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday) highlights one of the most important times in redemptive history, and is foundational in the life of believers. We take time every year to remember the events surrounding the death and resurrection of Jesus because of its rich significance in the life of the church.
As a church, we have said that one of the ways we grow as disciples is through rhythms of grace. God’s grace meets us in many different ways. In our church schedule we are changed by God’s word as we gather each week for worship. We also are gripped anew on an annual basis by familiar texts and doctrines. Each year as Christmas and Easter come we see the grace of God highlighted in unique ways with the power to change us through the Holy Spirit.
